Our line of Traditional Wax Pens (kistka or stylus) boasts the same precision tips used in our Electric Wax Pens. These pens are typically used with the traditional heat source for many wax relief arts — the candle. Some artists also use these pens with wax melted in a melting pot. Additionally, our Traditional Wax Pens have even been used with different types of paints (no candle needed).
The truly unique feature of our Traditional Wax Pens is the design featuring a large brass head that holds the tips. Brass is an excellent conductor of heat, and hold heat for a long time. This allows the artist an extended writing time on the artistic medium before needing to rewarm the pen tip, to melt the wax. With our unique design — wax remains molten for longer!!!
Our Traditional Wax Pens are available in all of our tip sizes: #000 3X Ultra Fine; #00 2X Ultra Fine; #0 Extra Fine; #1 Fine; #2 Medium; #3 Heavy; and #4 Extra Heavy. Our Traditional Wax Pens are available for sale individually or packaged in kits.
We offer our Traditional Wax Pens under the brand names “Hot Tipz” or “Almost Electric”.
